This is to introduce the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, Namibia University of Science and Technology as it plans to hold its First International Conference on Mathematical and Statistical Sciences (ICMSS-1) in July 2023.   

The international conference is a two-day hybrid (blended) activity taking place on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of July 2023 that brings together researchers, scientists and educators in Mathematical sciences around the world both physically and virtually to share their research contributions and ongoing projects from diverse applications of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. The international conference promises to showcase Mathematical and Statistical Sciences capabilities for multi-disciplinary research and global problem-solving challenges.   

As indispensable stakeholders in the scientific development and research capacity building programmes of our educational institutions on the continent and especially the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), it is our pleasure to invite your agency to be part of our frontline supporting partners in hosting this maiden international conference by our Department.
